Louisiana Licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

Certified Eating Disorders Specialist (CEDS)

• I am a Board Approved Supervisor (LPC-S) in the state of Louisiana and am able to supervise Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselors (PLPC’s) towards their LPC.

• I am an approved Certified Eating Disorders Specialist-Consultant (CEDS-C) through IAEDP and can supervise therapists towards their CEDS credential.

• For CEDS Supervision, I can supervise other allied health professionals (Dietitians/Nutritionists, medical doctors, nurses) up to 25% of their supervision requirements for certification. This is a great option for those who do not have a background in mental health. This can occur across the country or internationally through a virtual HIPAA compliant platform.

• I have more training in supervision than most due to my doctoral coursework in Counselor Education and Supervision. I continue to supervise master’s level interns through my coursework at The University of New Orleans.
